Lock Early Learning Centre amalgamated with Lock Area School in 2017. Since the amalgamation, the Kindergarten program has been delivered through an integrated model with the Junior Primary class.

The Kindergarten and Junior Primary are based in the Early Learning Centre, which is located on the school grounds, with a separate enclosed yard and play space.

The Early Years program provides excellent educational opportunities for preschool aged children, supportive to families and young children.
